New Vision has developed a solar-powered LED light that is available assembled, or un-assembled in a kit form, that allows us to teach small business entrepreneurs how to create and service our light. It is powered by a 10-watt solar panel and strong lithium battery capable of charging lights and cell phones. We partner with community development managers on the ground that work with finance models that meet the needs of the particular site. In the U.S., we partner with businesses, corporations and organizations, and their corporate social responsibility efforts, and pair them up with villages, schools and orphanages in developing nations around the world. We currently have over 1200 lights in 28 countries. Our partnership with 3M allows us to continue to improve the elements of our very bright light that provides whole room lighting.
